- Melissa Weihmayer
- Melissa wants to continue blogging, even when she is not in Germany. So she will seek for ways of creating a "home away from home" in this virtual space. The underlying assumption here is that, as an almost college-graduate, the concept of "home" is a rather ambiguous one that does not quite fit for a person in a period of constant change. But through explorations of places and the self in new places, a "home" can be found, created, discovered, and established just about anywhere. And maybe even everywhere.

Just heard from Mervyn that his dad, Uncle Abie passed away today. I doubt that you remember him. I know your mom remembers his cigar breath and kisses with his stubble beard.
